We also offer Early Kindergarten programming for students who will turn 5 between September 1 and December 1 of that school year. Early Kindergarten (EK) serves as a bridge to traditional kindergarten by providing students time and support to develop core academic and social skills under the care and guidance of professional educators.

Kindergarten Welcome Information Packet - English, Burmese, and Spanish
Attend a Kindergarten Welcome Event
Each of our four elementaries hosts a Kindergarten Welcome Event in the spring where students and families are invited to tour the school, and meet the staff and kindergarten teachers.
Kindergarten JumpStart Events take place in early August. This is an opportunity for your child to spend time at school independently with their kindergarten peers. Parents are encouraged to have kinder students attend Jump Start to help them feel ready for their first day of school.
Meet Your Teacher Night is held a few days before the first day of school. This is an opportunity for you and your child to meet their homeroom teacher and visit their classroom.
